Review Quotes

As soon as the quotes start rolling in, you can review each photographer’s profile, chat to them online, and decide who is the right person for you. You can discuss dates and times, what you’re hoping to achieve, and any other details you think are relevant.

Accept a Quote

To accept a photographer’s quote and secure the booking, you’ll need to pay a small deposit. The remaining balance should be settled directly between you and the photographer once the job is completed.

How do I choose the best photographer?

When a photographer submits a quote for a job you’ve posted, make sure to check out their profile before accepting the quote! You’ll be able to look through a portfolio of their previous work, review their customer feedback, and make sure they are right vibe for you.

How will the photographs be sent to me?

Every photographer will have their own preferred method of delivery, and so we recommend asking each photographer how they work before you accept their quote. However, common methods of delivery will include WeTransfer, DropBox, Google Drive etc.

Are there any hidden fees/costs?

No! The Photocar model is simple. You pay a small deposit when accepting a quote to secure the booking, and then you settle the remaining balance with the photographer directly once the job is completed.

Example: You receive a quote for £120. To accept the quote, you pay a £20 deposit through the Photocar website. This secures the booking. You will then pay the remaining £100 directly to the Photographer once the job is completed. Simple.

What do I prepare before the photographer arrives?

The most important thing to do before your Photographer arrives is to make sure the car is clean! It doesn’t matter how good the Photographer is, if your car is dirty, the photos won’t look great.

You might also want to make sure the car is in position are ready to go, or that you’ve already scouted out the best place to photograph it.

Do I have to accept a quote?

Absolutely not! Photocar is a no-obligation platform, and there’s no requirement to accept any quotes once you’ve posted a job.
